Updated FMLA and Sick Leave policies and providedresearch for development of social media policy. Achievements:  Revised FMLA and Sick Leave policies to attain compliance and ensure policies were complementary. Board of Supervisors adopted both policies on first presentation. Both policies ensured lack of loop-holes and ensured FMLAmet federal guidelines.  County incurred residents' request to provide services to veterans. Board of Supervisors mandated a link beinstalled on County website to address issue. Needs assessment determined offerings provided by local, state, andfederal government (financial assistance, housing, health, job retraining, employment sites, etc). Completed projectseveral weeks early. Oro Valley Town Hall  Oro Valley, AZ  7/2011  – 2/2012 Town of 41,000 residents , employs the council-manager form of municipal government. Management Intern Worked with Assistant Town Manager to participate and complete various assigned projects. Attended ACMA meetingand networked with professionals, facilitating involvement on professional organizations and committees. Supervisor indicated I was the most aggressive and assertive intern utilized. Worked with HR on implementing   a new softwaresystem. Conducted initial accreditation process, receiving no citations;increased student body three-fold, increasing departmental revenue; expanded curriculum and faculty to meetaccreditation guidelines, creating a two year program.
